Networks and fees: how to send USDT and Bitcoin to a casino

The same coin travels on different networks that do not talk to each other. Which to choose, what each costs and how to recognise an address before sending.

When you send USDT to a Chile crypto casino, choosing the coin is not enough. USDT exists on several networks at once: on Tron, on BNB Chain, on Ethereum, on Solana. They are separate systems. USDT sent on Tron can only reach a Tron address.

Quick comparison

The fees are indicative and change with each network’s price and each exchange’s policy. The exact figure appears on the send screen before you confirm.

TRC-20 (Tron)

The most used network for USDT at casinos. Almost every cashier accepts it and most exchanges offer it. The withdrawal fee on exchanges is usually low and fixed. Addresses start with T.

When to use it: the default choice if it is in both the cashier and your exchange.

BEP-20 (BNB Chain)

Very low fee. Accepted by many cashiers, but not all. Addresses start with 0x, just like Ethereum.

When to use it: if the cashier offers it and you want the cheapest transfer. Take care not to confuse it with ERC-20.

ERC-20 (Ethereum)

Almost every cashier accepts it, but it is the most expensive for USDT and the fee varies with congestion. Addresses with 0x.

When to use it: only if it is the only network your exchange and the casino share, and for amounts where the fee weighs little.

Solana, Polygon and TON

Cheap, fast networks. More cashiers add them all the time, but acceptance is uneven.

When to use them: if they are in both the cashier and your exchange. Check the network name carefully on both sides.

The lone star.

Bitcoin: main network and Lightning

Main network. Every cashier accepts it. The fee depends on congestion and can rise a lot at times of high demand. Addresses with bc1, 1 or 3.

Lightning. Small payments with minimal fees. It uses an invoice that expires instead of an address. Few cashiers have it.

Litecoin

Low fee, wide acceptance at casinos and offered by several exchanges. Addresses with ltc1, L or M. A good alternative when you do not want USDT and Bitcoin is expensive.

How to choose in three steps

  1. Open the casino cashier and note the networks available for your coin.
  2. Open your exchange withdrawal and note the networks available.
  3. Pick the cheapest of those that appear on both lists.

If none are shared, switch coins on the exchange (for example from USDT to LTC) or use an intermediate wallet. When a wallet makes sense is explained in your own wallet.

What a full deposit costs

To work out how much you lose between the bank and the casino, add:

  • Purchase: the difference between what you paid and the reference value, plus the buying fee.
  • Sending: the network fee when withdrawing from the exchange.
  • Way back: the network fee when withdrawing from the casino (if the casino charges it), the sale and the transfer to pesos.

On small deposits, fixed fees weigh more. Sending your budget in one go is usually cheaper than many small transfers.

Network mistakes and what to do

  • I sent on a different network. Write to casino support with the hash. Between compatible networks with 0x addresses it can sometimes be recovered; other times not.
  • I chose the right network but it has not arrived. Check whether the network is congested and whether the casino requires confirmations.
  • The exchange does not have the cashier’s network. Do not send: switch coins or exchanges.

Common questions

What is the cheapest network for USDT?
Usually BEP-20, Solana or Polygon, with TRC-20 close behind. But the best network is the cheapest one both your exchange and the casino cashier accept.
Is a 0x address Ethereum or BNB Chain?
It can be either, because they use the same format. The casino cashier tells you the network, not the address.
Who charges the sending fee?
The exchange or wallet you send from, to pay the network. It is shown before you confirm the transfer.
